This dress I shot a couple of months ago with my girl Sakura. I have always been a fan of statement block coloured dresses. Normally gray reminds me of cloudy skies and prelude to a stormy and miserable day. Gray in fashion is an unremarkably versatile colour, channeling a variety of vibes depending on the piece and the way it is styled. It’s a colour to suit every skin tone and definitely does not need to confined to drab connotations and stereotypical use of vanilla office wear.
This basic piece from ASOS caught my attention for its back attention to detail. The ruching over the small of the back accentuates the lady lumps and brings the eye into the small waist to really give you that hourglass shape.
The coat is sister to my neutral waterfall lapelled coat, both from my obssession, MISSGUIDED.
Styled here with some basic reflective neutral shell earrings from Lovisa and my go to simple block heels from RUBI Shoes, this outfit is perfect for a date night or cocktails with your girls.
